Thank you all who participated in the 3th Annual School Supply Drive and Carnival. Donations of backpacks still needed along with supplies. Drop to Dept Human Services, 186 E Lane, Ontario (across from Kmart)
We had a great day with over 300 kids picking up supplies, eating 500 sno-cones and enjoying face painting. The Red Apple and the band 2 Praise Him, made up of several local Christians each donated $200 in gift cards and gave them out. The families were thrilled to have an extra $200 worth of food!
Next year!!! We will need a group of volunteers to BBQ hotdogs, another group with more face painters, and another group for the 2nd sno-cone machine!! This is an great outreach event you won't want to miss. One woman spent over an hour talking about faith with Rev. Anne Slakey and Anne had a great opportunity to share about the Lord with her! That's why we do what we do. To show and share Christ.
